AdeptID Acquires MedSource Travelers, Expands its Healthcare Staffing Business
Second staffing acquisition in the past year
Boston, MA (Tuesday, October 27th, 2026) – AdeptID, an AI-led talent software and staffing company, announced it has acquired MedSource Travelers, a travel nurse and allied staffing firm serving healthcare facilities nationwide. The deal is AdeptID’s second healthcare staffing acquisition, following its acquisition of Lucid Staffing Solutions in October 2025.
Founded in 2001, MedSource Travelers provides nursing and allied staffing to healthcare organizations in the Southeast and on the West Coast. CEO Paul Gunnoe will become President of Healthcare Staffing at AdeptID, where he will lead the company’s healthcare staffing business. MedSource Travelers will continue to operate under its own brand, and clients and clinicians will keep their existing points of contact.
As part of Adept, MedSource Travelers will have access to open jobs and clinician talent across AdeptID’s staffing business, all with the support of AdeptID’s AI matching technology and AI-led workflows. Similarly, clinicians and facilities served by Lucid and Adept Talent will be able to access jobs and talent from Medsource Travelers. This new partnership opens more areas of opportunity for both healthcare professionals and facilities.
