The Healthcare Workforce
needs
a New Solution.

The gap between clinicians and the facilities that need them isn’t just a staffing problem. It’s a systems problem. Adept Talent was built to solve both at once.

The Adept Talent Story

Healthcare has a workforce shortage. The gap between the needs of healthcare facilities and available healthcare professionals is widening. Tech solutions are fragmented and impersonal. Relationships are put on the back-burner. Adept Talent was built to fix that.

We’re the staffing arm of AdeptID, a technology company whose matching models power 10M job transitions across industries each month. When the AdeptID team saw how acutely healthcare was feeling this gap, they made a deliberate bet: the right answer wasn’t another bandaid solution of better software or another staffing firm. It was both.

In 2025, AdeptID acquired Lucid Staffing Solutions. Lucid is a healthcare staffing firm founded by real clinicians, Daniel Davenport, RT and Suzanne Davenport, RN. It is built on genuine candidate relationships and specializes in travel allied health placements. To combine the tech with Lucid’s relationship-first model, in 2026 AdeptID brought in a former healthcare staffing CEO who has worked on every side of this problem to lead Adept Talent.

The result is a team that looks different from anything else in this space. Clinicians who’ve practiced at major health systems work alongside engineers who’ve scaled platforms at some of the world’s most demanding companies. People who understand what it means to be short-staffed on a Friday night, and people who know how to build technology that learns.

We exist because the problem is solvable. Solving it matters to clinicians, to facility teams, and for the patients caught in between.
